I m still not over Sera s uncle letting them go them being her and the two royal stars she has with her so far I for sure think he is up to something big Could he be working with whoever is out to stop Sera and the royal stars from finishing their mission Anyway they encounter the goddess of the water they want to cross which is pretty freaking cool More dragons attack with seem like it will be the new usual They end up having to dive into the underworld then separated and Sera is attacked by spirits We see some cloaked purple and gold figures again I m thinking these are our main villains Sera s brother shows up and he might be dead and stuck in the underworld now I m still lost whether or not he s really dead or just using this to plan a surprise attack on their uncle to gain back their family and kingdom plus he said he has not been able to find their mother in the spirit realm so she might also not be dead Sera and the Royal Stars 3 Rating 4 Stars Sera The Royal Stars is an epic fantasy comic series set in a Persian inspired world following an arrow wielding princess on a quest to find ancient gods and save her kingdom during it s civil war Great artwork action and a fast paced story make this series such a gem In Issue 3 the story picks up with Sera and a couple of the Royal Stars she s found so far Bull Scorpion As they make their way to cross the River Deneb they are ambushed by wyvern they fall deep into the underworld Sera s arc in this issue allows her to confront her fears about leaving her family behind and losing her mother However she luckily doesn t dwell in those feelings too long when her brother Jahar helps out leading her back to the Stars with a new member on the team The artwork is what truly makes this series stand out from the full page artwork unique character designs and just the overall presentation of the story really makes it a distinct comic among so many out there in my opinion.
