This sank without trace Kindle Edition I don t know why I read this book I guess I was browsing the nonfiction shelf at are local library and saw it sitting there so I picked it up and read it right there I have read in previous books from the Kennedy era that JFK slept around with a lot of woman and maybe this author had something to say about that The book is very short essay on John F Kennedy s 45th birthday party in 1962 Attended by many politicians and Hollywood stars the mostmportant being Marilyn Monroe Marilyn Monroe was one of the most glamorous and sought after stars of her time John F Kennedy was.
Even though details of an ongoing relationship between the two are actually pretty scarce It is the post party that the parties attended and much is said with pictures that back up there attendance Interesting to note that Kennedy s wife Jackie knew about the party but was in a equestrian event that weekend Rumor has it she didn t want to be second fiddle to Monroe and suspected her husband of having a fling with the actress What is alsonteresting that within months both JFK and Marilyn die so the real story and what went on that night will never be known.
