What a terrific book I have not read anything by Mariella Starr before but after reading this book I will definitely be looking out for This is a nice long book which gives Mariella time to develop the characters and plot to a terrific depth One of the high points for me is that unlike a lot of domestic discipline books this book doesn t seem to be just an excuse to write spankings with a bit of story I highly recommend this bookI received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review A Different Kind of Woman An Old West Romance This was not the book I was expecting it to be Firstly.

A differentind of daughter book

There s a lot of story here I could almost even say there s a lot of stories in this book To me it felt a lot like reading a season of a TV show Something bad would happen they d find a solution but the book wasn t over Something else bad would happen they d find another solution but the book still wasn t over And so on Now I m used to the traditional method of storytelling where there s a beginning a middle and then the end I m not used to this literary format where there isn t that specific a focus to the plot line I enjoyed it it just wasn t what I was used to I loved Fianna She s definitely not the typical lady of the day and age and I loved her even because of it I loved Quinn s fierce loyalty to the one s he loves Though I did think his punishing Fianna for being Fianna was a bit overboard. A different kind of mother Quinn sees Fianna and sees nothing but a beautiful woman with a beautiful soul She might be different but he loves her nonetheless These two have steamy scenes and chemistry that leap off the pages This isn t a sweet romance drama and heat I found this couple super easy to root for because they really stole my heart This is my frank freely posted review A Different Kind of Woman An Old West Romance This is another five star book for this author Fianna quickly became a favorite female lead for me I loved her independence intelligence and kindness Quinn was equally likeable with his stern but still very kind demeanor The supporting cast provided a nice mix of supporters and villains The romance was very sweet and the drama made the story flow well The story is well written and one I look forward to reading again someday. nonetheless hot The spanking is minimal There are other characters in this book but the main focus is still the hero and heroine and there is character development even among the sub characters so I than people Her life has never been easy a father who treats her poorly favoring his other daughter and people in town who would rather talk about her in whispers she has no time for them The only people who mattered were her late O Toole grandparents who have since passed away and left her their ranch You re as gentle as sky blue pink evening and as fierce and strong as a flaming sunset grandda would say with pride and a wink You are my pure Irish beauty Most people only see the outside my love Nanna had answered It takes someone who carries love in their heart to see real beauty
