And this booked ended too soon I just wanted Brooklyn and Becker s story to go on and on A little bit about the book as I don t want to spoil your enjoyment too much Brooklyn has followed her dad and uncles footsteps and is a police officer in Rivers Edge she works hard as she doesn t want anyone to think she got her job because her dad is the Police Chief when she gets Becker as her new partner the attraction could melt the biggest ice berg Becker wanted Brooklyn from the moment he meet her but he is worried about getting on the wrong side of his boss her dad especially with the stories of what her family have done to her potentially boyfriends in the past like bringing flame throwers to scare her high school prom date lets be honest if there wasn t a bit of humour in a Lacey Black book we would worry But fate has a hand to play as Becker moves into the condo next door to Brooklyn they are thrown together and outside and inside work.
